Use this page to view and/or enter an Assistive Tech line to a claim.
Tip: Information displayed on the Assistive Tech tab is read-only and cannot be changed. You can enter an Auth # and press the Enter key on your keyboard to display a specific authorization in the Claim Detail table. If necessary, click the Search Authorization button to perform a search on the Search Authorizations page. In addition, you can enter a Patient Acct. and press the Enter key on your keyboard to view service line claims by patient.
In the columns of the Claim Detail table, view the following information for each Assistive Tech line that matches your search criteria:
Detail provides a link to the line item's detail page.
Line displays the item number for the Assistive Tech line.
Date displays the date on which the service line for the v line was entered.
HCPCS Code displays the authorized HCPCS Code for the Assistive Tech line.
Units displays the number of units for which the provider is billing. 1 unit equals 15 minutes of service time.
Charges displays the charge for the Assistive Tech line.
Delete provides a link that allows you to delete the Assistive Tech line.
Claim Total Charges displays the total dollar amount of all Assistive Tech line items on the claim.
Click the following button(s) as necessary:
Click Enter Assistive Tech Line to enter a service line to the claim. The Claim - Assistive Tech Line Item Information page displays when clicked.
Click Reset to clear any unsaved changes and restore the previously displayed information.
Click Back to return to the previous page.
Click Check Claim to run a check on the claim before submitting it to the database.
Click Submit to submit the claim to the database.
Note: You can click the tabs along the top of the page to view and/or enter other items for the claim.
