Use this page view and download inbound HIPAA files, such as: 837-E-Claims and/or 276-Claim Status Requests.
Tip: Information displayed on the Outbox page is read-only and cannot be changed. Under List Filter, you can select the View All Files radio button to display all HIPAA inbound files, or select the View Files for last 6 months radio button to display only the HIPAA inbound files available within the last six months.. When either radio button is selected, the information displayed in the HIPAA Outbox Files table is refreshed.
Note: The following format validation icons are displayed in the HIPAA Outbox Files table as each step of the validation process is completed for a file:

The Accepted icon indicates that the file passed the validation and was received in an acceptable format. |

The Rejected icon indicates that the file validation failed and that the file was rejected. |
|
The Pending icon indicates that the file is currently awaiting validation and is in the pending queue. You can click on this icon for more information. |
|
The Exception icon indicates that the file validation partially failed and that an exception currently exists for the file. You can click on this icon for more information. |
In the columns of the HIPAA Outbox Files table, view the following information as necessary:
Step 1 displays one of the first format validation for the HIPAA Outbox File (see the format validation icon descriptions listed above).
Step 2 displays the second format validation for the HIPAA Outbox File (see the format validation icon descriptions listed above).
Step 3 displays the final format validation for the HIPAA Outbox File (see the format validation icon descriptions listed above).
Type displays the numeric file type for the HIPAA Outbox File.
File Name provides a link to download the HIPAA Outbox File to your local machine. Click the icon in this column to download the selected HIPAA Outbox File.
Description displays a description of the HIPAA Outbox File.
Date Received displays the date on which the HIPAA Outbox File was uploaded to the web page.
Mode indicates whether the HIPAA Outbox File is currently in Test mode or Live mode.
Click the following button(s) as necessary:
Click Upload A File to upload a local file to the web page. The Upload A File page displays when clicked.
Click Back to return to the previous page.
Note: You can click the Inbox tab along the top of the page to view HIPAA Inbox Files as necessary.
